7 Steps to Placement – Direct Hire: As an un-biased 3rd party provider, our pre-screen approach doesn’t discuss particular roles with candidates. Client names or opportunities are withheld and shared with candidates once a match has been made and prior to submittal. All candidates are met prior to submittal.
 
We go beyond just total years, industry and certification but test candidates based on their motivations and career goals. We align and prioritize what their next role will look like including all facets of their job search to assure that you don’t hire on talent that can ‘do the job’ versus talent that view your job as ‘THE JOB’.
 
Lincoln Finance and Accounting continually networks within alumni associations, professional and trade groups in an effort to constantly identify passive talent in the marketplace. Following is our 7 step process to assure a smooth offer/acceptance process.
 
  1. Candidate Screen/LSC Interview - A discovery process of motivations, skill set, cultural fit, location and compensation are discussed. In addition the motivations behind prior job movement and References are conducted.
  2. Matching – upon identifying a match, the role is discussed, motivations are re-assed. Candidates are ‘cleared’ before submittal meaning they’ve given LF&A exclusive permission to submit. A lot of firms send to you first and then sell the candidate later.
  3. Candidate Submittal – Background is submitted with an overview or ‘write up’ of qualifications, motivations, location and salary expectations are shared with the client.
  4. Interview Prep – prior to the interview candidate and client are fully prepped to assure that the role, motivations, expectations and salary are disclosed. NO SURPRISES.
  5. Interview – Client and Candidate meet to discuss the role, backgrounds and organization.
  6. Debrief – Candidates are fully debriefed to once again re-assess the alignment of motivations with the role’s offering. Other opportunities are weighed against this opportunity and any unanswered questions are addressed to assure a high level of comfort with going forward. Clients are debriefed on fit and further clarifications to assure that moving forward with the offer stage is a smooth process.
  7. OFFER/ACCEPTANCE – where we earn our living. Our thorough and stream – lined model assures clients that no offer will go out unless we are 100% certain that the candidate will accept.
